The 4th EABRN-UNESCO Training Workshop on “Remote Sensing and GIS for Biosphere Reserve Management” concluded on 22 April 2011 at the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Guo Huadong, Director-General of AIR and Director of HIST, Ramasamy Jayakumar, Program Specialist of the UNESCO Beijing Office, Wang Kanghong, Vice-president of SuperMap Software Co., Ltd, Shen Sha, representative of Leica Geosystems AG, teachers, and 20 participants from eight countries attended the closing ceremony.
